Yard Goats to Host Tigers' Double-A Affiliate at Dodd Stadium

NORWICH, CT- The Connecticut Tigers, Class-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers, announce that Dodd Stadium will play host to two additional Hartford Yard Goats (Double-A, Colorado Rockies) home game dates on June 25 & 26 against the Detroit Tigers Double-A affiliate the Erie SeaWolves.

As of June 8th, the Erie SeaWolves roster features eleven former Connecticut Tigers players including pitchers Tommy Collier, Joe Jimenez, Joe Mantiply, Montreal Robertson, Brennan Smith, Josh Turley, Paul Voelker, catcher Austin Green, infielders Dominic Ficociello and Dean Green, and outfielder Jeff McVaney.

"We're excited to welcome the Yard Goats back to Dodd Stadium to take on our fellow Tigers affiliate later this month," said Tigers General Manager Dave Schermerhorn. "We hope our fans will enjoy this unique opportunity to see a number of former Connecticut Tigers back at Dodd Stadium where their professional careers began."

Game times for the additional games will be as follows. The schedule is subject to change:

- Saturday, June 25th (Doubleheader)- 4:05 pm

- Sunday, June 26th- 1:35 pm

Tickets for the June 25th & 26th Hartford Yard Goats games at Dodd Stadium are available beginning June 8th at 12 pm online at cttigers.com, by phone at (860) 887-7962 or at the Dodd Stadium box office. Pricing for Yard Goats games at Dodd Stadium are $12 for Premium Box Seats, $11 for Reserved Box Seats, and $10 for Grandstand seats. All doubleheaders are single admission events. The Tigers will still honor the $2 discount with military ID and $1 discount for children 12 years & under as well as senior citizens 60 years & over. Gates will open for all Yard Goats games one hour prior to first pitch.

The Connecticut Tigers are the New York-Penn League affiliate of the Detroit Tigers at Dodd Stadium in Norwich, Connecticut. Opening Night for the 2016 season for the Connecticut Tigers is set for June 22nd at 7:05 pm! 2016 season tickets, group tickets, mini plans, individual game tickets and team merchandise are now on sale! The front office and box office is open daily from 9 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday and can be accessed in person or by calling 860-887-7962.
