SAN FRANCISCO, CA (June 3, 2011) - Women's Professional Soccer announced today its newly established partnership with A3 Sports Consulting, a Texas based sports and entertainment consulting firm.
A3 Sports Consulting will lend its proven expertise in all aspects of sports business, and event management to collaborate with WPS to develop new and innovative marketing and ticketing initiatives for the duration of the 2011 season.
Led by Founder/CEO Chris Keeney, the company has a track record of success in working with a wide range of entertainment events and properties including the Houston Texans of the National Football League (NFL), the Association of Volleyball Professionals (AVP) beach volleyball tour and NCAA Football. Keeney has been responsible for sold-out events like the Texas Bowl, the 2010 MLS All-Star Game, Rice-University of Texas football, Gold Cup soccer, and musical events including George Strait & Sugarland. In addition to this, Keeney himself possesses more than a fifteen years of experience in professional soccer, working with Major League Soccer franchises in Columbus, OH (Columbus Crew), Salt Lake City, UT (Real Salt Lake), and Washington D.C. (D.C. United).
