Manchester Wolves News Release
MANCHESTER, NH (November 2, 2004) It was a short but happy trip back home to New England for Wolves Head Coach Mark Stoute, as he has accepted a coaching position with the Tampa Bay Storm of the AFL.
Wolves General Manager Angelo Mazzella remarked, "We are all very happy for Mark. The coaching success that has followed him throughout his career is a big part of the reason that he was approached by a team with as much history as the Storm, and we know that he will do nothing but good things for Tampa Bay."
The Tampa Bay Storm has been in the upper echelon of the AFL since they arrived in Florida via Pittsburgh in 1991. The team has won five ArenaBowl titles. The most recent one in 2003, when they defeated the Arizona Rattlers by a score of 43-29 in front of 20,496, the second largest crowd to attend an arena football game at that time.
Stoute has long standing ties to the Wolves and, "wishes the Wolves the best of luck in 2005." He added, "with the personnel the team has in place, they are geared for continued success this season."
The Wolves are in the process of filling the head coaching position. A decision will be made in the near future.
Season ticket renewal is underway for the Wolves, and a priority list is being assembled for new season tickets as well. Don't miss your chance to be there for all of the excitement of the 2005 season!
