Chillicothe Paints News Release
Chillicothe stayed in Danville for the final game of the series. The Paints started scoring early in the first inning off of a 3 run double by Gama Martinez. Chad Roberts, Andrew Czech and Dan McCauley scored on the double by Martinez.
The Dans returned 1 of the runs in the second inning. Drew Blanco hit a 1 run double for the Dans, scoring Blake Paugh.
The Paints scored again in the fourth inning. Andrew Czech hit a 2 run double for the Paints. Drew DeVine and Chad Roberts scored on the Czech double.
After the Paints' fourth inning neither team scored for the rest of the game.
The Paints Highlighted Player is starting pitcher, Eric Sapp. Sapp pitched 5 innings, allowed 3 its, gave up 1 earned run and struck out 8 Dans. The paints come back home to Chillicothe to take on the Champion City Kings.
