
Wings to Hold Open Tryouts

On July 30th and 31st, The Wichita Wings of The Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) will hold open tryouts for roster spots on their 2011-2012 season.
Tryouts will be held at Hartman Arena with registration beginning at 8am on July 30th. Tryouts will run from 9am until noon, followed by Head Coach LeBaron Hollimon announcing who he would like to return for a second day of tryouts on July 31st. Tryout players must be 16 years or older, however players under the age of 18 must have graduated from High School.
Coach Lebaron Hollimon knows exactly what he is looking for in players trying out "We will take players that possess the skill sets that would allow them to play at the highest Professional Indoor Soccer level."
Players will be evaluated based on speed/agility, fitness assessments, ball handling ability, knowledge of the game and more.
There is a non-refundable tryout fee of $100 and players must also wear appropriate indoor soccer shoes (no cleats). For more information contact the Wichita Wings office at (316) 440-5044.
