The Wings again hosted the Bismarck Bobcats on home ice.

Finally, at the 15:39 mark in the second period, Matthew Wisener for the Wings would find the back of the net, and Leonid Bulgakov would get the assist. Later, before the buzzer would sound to end the period, Isak Holmstrom would also score, extending the Wings lead. Riley Sharun and Logan Gravink assisted. The score would be 2-0 going into the third period.

The third period would almost go without adding to the score until the Wings found an opportunity at the empty net. Matthew Wisener would finally be the one to seal the deal with the empty net goal, with assists going to Lucas Lidstrom and Luke Backel.

Adam Dybal was in net for the Wings and stopped all 23 shots faced, recording his second shutout of the season.
