
Wings Sign Final Roster Spot for 2012-2013 Season

WICHITA, Kan. - The Wichita Wings are excited to announce the signing of Michael Mesle as the 18th and final roster position for the club's 2012-2013 season. Mesle, originally from St. Charles, Mo., was the Wings All-Star selection out of the MISL combine held earlier this month. Mesle was brought into Wichita's training camp, and was formally offered a contract at the conclusion of training camp.
Michael Mesle graduated from Ottawa University in May of 2012. In his four years career at Ottawa University, Mesle started in all 75 games for the Braves and was a five-time Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week selection. While in college, Mesle also played outdoor soccer in the summer for the Springfield Demize in 2010 and for the St. Louis Lions in 2011 and 2012.
"We are excited to add Michael to the team. He was impressive at the combine and continued to impress during training camp. We are excited he committed to playing for Wichita," said Coach Hollimon.
The Wichita Wings will open their 2012-2013 season home opener on November 4th, kickoff is scheduled for 3:05 p.m. (CST) at Hartman Arena.
