September 25, 2012 - Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL)
Wichita Wings News Release

WICHITA, KS - The Wichita Wings are proud to announce the signing of Brady Bryant to this season's lineup. Bryant, who spent last season as a standout Defender for the Norfolk Sharx, brings a valuable skill set and plenty of experience making him a viable contributor to the Wings this season. Before last year's season ending knee injury, Bryant was one of Norfolk's best players and noted by many on the Wings team as a solid and challenging competitor.

Bryant welcomes the opportunity to wear the black and orange of Wichita's premier major league team. "I am very excited about the opportunity to play for the Wichita Wings. I'm looking forward to using the talents God has given me for this first class organization."

Brady started his collegiate career at The Citadel before transferring to the University of Mobile where his talents earned him a 2002 NAIA Honorable Mention All American award. While in college, Bryant refined his soccer skills playing for the Chicago Eagles Select and West Michigan Edge of the Premier Development League.

Turning pro in 2004, Bryant signed with the Wilmington Hammerheads (USL 2nd Division). After 3 seasons with the Hammerheads, Bryant displayed his natural athletic ability playing a season of indoor football with the Columbia Stingers as a Wide Receiver and Kicker. In 2008, he joined the Charlotte Eagles of the USL PRO where he continued to excel on the field earning Second Division All-League First Team honors.

Clearly Bryant brings a wealth of experience and talent to the Wings this season as they look forward to making a post season run in the MISL. Coach Hollimon is excited about the off-season acquisitions to the team. "We are building a team with the mindset we expect to win each and every game we play." The Wings pre-season action starts October 20th at 7:00PM in Hartman Arena.
