Wings Announce Dance Team Name and Tryout Dates

The Wichita Wings and new Dance Coordinator Taryn McFarthing have announced the name of the Wings Dance Team, as well as tryout dates for the upcoming season. The Dance Team will be the Wings "Angels", going nostalgic with the name from the previous Wings Dance Team.
The Angels will be holding a two-day open tryout for the 2011-2012 season. The first day participants will learn a dance, followed by a second day of tryouts where all participants will perform the dance. The first day is scheduled for August 26th at Genesis Health Club (854 N. Socora) with registration beginning at 7:30pm and tryouts beginning at 8pm. The second day of tryouts is scheduled for August 28th at Hartman Arena (8151 N. Hartman Arena Dr.) starting at 1pm.
