Wildcats Gearing Up For Tornado
Published on October 9, 2006 under North American Hockey League (NAHL)
Wichita Falls Wildcats News Release
The Wildcats are gearing up for their weekend series against the rival Texas Tornado. The Cats have been off for the last couple of weeks, giving them plenty of time to recover from injuries and get ready for their upcoming home stand.
The Wildcats are about to embark on a crucial part of their season, playing ten home games in a four-week period. This presents a great opportunity for the team to start clawing their way up in the NAHL South standings. Their first opponent, the Tornado sit only six points ahead of the Cats, and with two victories this weekend, the team could narrow the margin to only two points.
Friday, October 13 is Texoma Cycling Center Team Poster night and the first 1,000 fans through the door will receive a poster. Saturday, October 14 is United Regional Health Care Systems Hat night. The first 500 fans in attendance will receive a Wildcats hat. Please join us at Kay Yeager Coliseum to cheer on your Wichita Falls Wildcats. The puck drops at 7:05 pm.
