WICHITA, Kan. - The Wichita Force is excited to announce that the team has selected the official 24-man roster for the 2016 season. The team roster is as follows:

After starting camp with 31 players, head coach Paco Martinez and his staff evaluated players over the course of nine practices in various position specific drills and team scrimmages. Six players were released from the training camp squad and according to Martinez, was the toughest decision he has to make in his tenure of coaching.
"Every player that we had in camp this year, earned a spot on our active roster," Martinez said. "I can honestly say this was the most talent we've had in camp. In years past, we've always had two or three guys that showed they didn't have what it takes to play at this level. This year, every player competed each day and proved they should be on this team. I hate that I have to let these guys go. We are coming out of camp with a fire that we've never had before and it's a direct result of the level of competition we have each day in camp."
The Wichita Force will kick-off its 2016 season in Salina on Saturday, March 5 at the Bicentennial Center. The team will return to Wichita the following week to host the Duke City Gladiators at INTRUST Bank Arena. Season tickets are available and start at only $77.
