
Whitecaps single game tickets on sale tomorrow

VANCOUVER, B.C. - The Vancouver Whitecaps FC today announced that single game tickets for the 2005 regular season and exhibition games held at Swangard Stadium will go on sale tomorrow, Wednesday, April 6 at 10:00 am. Tickets will be available at all Ticketmaster Ticket Centres, on-line at www.ticketmaster.ca, and by phone 604.280.4400.
The Whitecaps men's team will kick off their regular season at home on Sunday, April 24 versus the Toronto Lynx. The home opener will include special entertainment and post-game fireworks. In total the Caps will play 13 regular season games from April through September and one exhibition match versus Sunderland AFC at Swangard Stadium this year.
Tickets for the Sunderland AFC friendly on July 16 will also go on sale tomorrow; Sunderland AFC are currently in first place in the English Championship League and are on pace to be promoted to the English Premier League next season.
The Whitecaps women's squad will also open their regular season at home. The defending W-League Champions will host the Arizona Heatwave on Saturday, May 14. The women's team will play six regular season games from May through July at Swangard.
Whitecaps single game prices range from $10.00 to $22.00. The Whitecaps also offer Family Night packages which will be available for every Sunday match. The Family Night package starts at just $49.00 dollars and includes four tickets and two McDonald's Happy Meals.
