
Whitecaps announce new radio partnership with MOJO Sports Radio AM 730

Vancouver Whitecaps FC President John Rocha announced today a new partnership between the club and CORUS Radio. All 28 regular season Whitecaps Men's home and away games plus the playoffs will be broadcast live by MOJO Sports Radio AM 730, a member of the CORUS Radio network. Broadcasts will also include 30-minute pre-game and post-game shows.
"We are very excited about our new partnership with CORUS Radio and MOJO Sports Radio," said Rocha. "The CORUS network brings a strong promotional presence and broad coverage which ranges as far west as Vancouver Island and as far east as Hope. This partnership will help us continue to grow the Whitecaps brand and soccer throughout British Columbia."
In addition to the game broadcasts, MOJO Sports Radio AM 730 will also air Whitecaps World of Soccer every Saturday morning from 10:00am - 11:00am featuring Whitecaps news, pre-game and post-game reports, plus local and international soccer updates.
"MOJO Sports Radio AM 730 is very excited to be partnering with the Vancouver Whitecaps," said Tom Plasteras, Program Director of MOJO Sports Radio AM 730. "They are a first class organization with big plans for soccer in British Columbia and we are thrilled to be working with them to achieve their goals."
In addition to MOJO Sports Radio AM 730, the CORUS Radio Network includes CKNW AM 980, Classic Rock 101 and 99.3 The Fox.
The Whitecaps broadcast team and host for Whitecaps World of Soccer will be announced at a later date.
