
White named player of the week

Boise, ID (January 26, 2004) â The Continental Basketball Association announced today that Sioux Falls Skyforce forward Leonard White was named the League Player of the Week for the week of January 18 â 24. It is the second straight week that White has won the award.
The 6-foot-7, 225 pound forward averaged 28.0 points and 11.0 rebounds per game during a two-game series with the Idaho Stampede last week. He also added 2.5 assists, 1.5 blocks and 3.5 steals per game, while shooting 65.6 percent (21 of 32) from the floor and 73.7 percent (14 of 19) from the free-throw line.
In a 112-105 win on Friday night, January 23, White posted 31 points, 13 rebounds, four steals, two assists and one blocked shot. The next night he added 25 points, nine rebounds, three steals, three assists and two blocked shots in a 125-114 loss.
Other players receiving consideration were Gary's David Graves (28.0 ppg, 6.0 rpg), Idaho's Josh Davis (25.5 ppg, 10.0 rpg), and Rockford's Quincy Wadley (29.7 ppg, 7.0 rpg).
