What a week for the Outlawz
April 26, 2008 - Continental Indoor Football League (CIFL)
Lehigh Valley Outlawz News Release
After suffering a loss to NE last weekend, I was clearly not content with a 2-2 record.
We have a Championship caliber defense which is allowing under 30pts per game. We have a young offense which started to sputter. We have made what we think to be the proper adjustments.
So, we went from Virginia to Daytona and back to round up former Temple star (2004 Big East Player of the Year, 2005 NFL Draft, 2005 Green Bay Packers). Walter Washington. A 6-1, 240 QB who still holds three career records at Temple. Walt will be getting teh satrt this wekend in Upper Marlboro, MD vs. teh Chesapeake Tide on Sunday at 2pm (Showplace Arena). Look for the returns of Billy "Superman" Parker, Eddie Scipio and Drew DeRogatis, who have been out with injuries for most of 2008..
May 3 vs. Marion Mayhem is 4-Winds Concrete Kid's Night, all kids get in for just 5 bucks - any level PGELS Static Cling giveaway to first 1500 fans
May 10 vs. CIFL Champion Rochester Raiders is Rich Mar Florists Mothers Day featuring free flowers to the first 1000 Mom's at the game. Also, at 12 noon we have our Annual Lady Outlawz Youth Dance Clinic. Children (4-14) who register will get lunch, instruction, t-shirt and be part of a special half-time performance at our game.
May 24 vs. Miami Valley Silverbacks is Dairy Queen Night with Frisbee to the first 1500 fans featuring LV Grand Prix, come out and test ride one these and have a blast before the game. If all goes according to plan, this will be our playoff clinching game for the 3rd consecutive season!!!
