West Texas Whirlwinds To Hold Tryout Camp

Midland, TX. The ABA West Texas Whirlwinds announced that they will have a tryout camp for their professional basketball team that begins play in December. The tryouts will be held at the MLK Center on Midland, Texas on October 16th and 17th from 130-330pm. The fee is $125.00.
"We are in one of the ABA's toughest divisions," stated team owner Cleveland Phelps. "SETX, Houston, Texas Fuel, Dallas Generals and North Texas Fresh are putting together very strong teams. So, we are looking for some top flight players and we know that there is some great talent here in West Texas as well as neighboring states. Come on out. We have some open positions."
