Fresno Grizzlies News Release
FRESNO, CA - The Fresno Grizzlies have compiled a schedule of weekly promotions for the 2009 season at Chukchansi Park certain to deliver the best entertainment value in the Central Valley. The return of Monday Madness and Thirsty Thursday, coupled with a new all-you-can-eat special and "Kids Eat Free" promotion give Grizzlies fans numerous affordable opportunities to come to the ballpark this summer.
Monday Madness
Each Monday game at Chukchansi Park in 2009 will feature a new-and-improved "Monday Madness" package, presented by ABC30. For just $22, fans will receive 2 field level reserve tickets, 2 hot dogs, 2 sodas, 2 Wild Water Adventure Park passes, and 2 Blackbeard's miniature golf passes, a bundle worth over $100 in total.
"Now more than ever, folks are looking to stretch their entertainment dollar as far as they can," said Grizzlies Senior Vice President of Marketing Scott Carter. "In putting together this package with our great partners at Wild Water Adventure Park and Blackbeard's, we wanted to create an offer that seemed too good to be true and really give people an incredible entertainment value."
All You Can Eat Tuesdays
In a new promotion again designed to provide the utmost in value for fans, Tuesdays at the ballpark this season (excluding 4/14, 5/19, and 8/25) will be "All You Can Eat Tuesdays". For just $15 fans can purchase a Field Level Reserve ticket and enjoy unlimited hot dogs, nachos, popcorn, soft drinks, and water until 8:30pm.
Way Back Wednesdays
Way Back Wednesdays, presented by The Fresno Bee, return to downtown Fresno this summer. Kids under 12, seniors over 55, and active military personnel (with valid ID), can enjoy Grizzlies baseball from a Field Level Reserve seat for just $2.
Thirsty Thursday
Perhaps the most popular weekly promotion at Chukchansi Park is back in 2009, as every Thursday (excluding Opening Day, 4/9) is a Thirsty Thursday in downtown Fresno. Fans can take advantage of Tecate and Tecate Light for just $1 until the end of the 5th inning, and $1 sodas all game long. Additionally this season, the Grizzlies will offer a 20-ounce Tecate option for just $2. Gates and taps open at 6:05.
Save Mart Sundays
Save Mart Sundays at the ballpark this summer will be fun for the whole family, but especially for the youngest members of the family. As in 2008, every Sunday game at Chukchansi Park will feature a Future Giants Autograph Session prior to the game, and the opportunity for kids to run the bases on the field after the contest, presented by Del Taco.
New in 2009 however, is the Kids Eat Free special. From June 21st until the conclusion of the season (excluding 7/5) every Grizzlies fan under the age of 12 will receive a voucher for a free hot dog, soda, and bag of chips on Sundays.
The Fresno Grizzlies open the 2009 campaign on Thursday, April 9th when they welcome the Portland Beavers to downtown Fresno. Single-game tickets, season tickets or mini-plans are available now by visiting the new FresnoGrizzlies.com or calling the Grizzlies front office at 559.320.HITS.
