Week ten final standings
Published on June 11, 2006 under Continental Indoor Football League (CIFL) News Release
As expected, it was a huge week in GLIFL action. Three great games, and some shuffling in the playoff picture. The big change is Battle Creek now in dire straits with their playoff chances, while Marion can host a first round playoff game with wins in their final two contests (@ Lehigh Valley, @ Rochester). All playoff considerations are listed below the standings. If you have any questions, feel free to email me or call.

GLIFL PLAYOFF PICTURE
After Week Twelve, the top four teams will be in the GLIFL Playoffs. The #4 will travel to the #1 seed tentatively on the weekend of July 8. The #3 will travel to the #2 seed on the same weekend. The winners will face off for Great Lakes Bowl I on the weekend of July 22 at the home of the higher seed. If Marion clinches a home playoff game in Round One, they'd host on the weekend of July 15 due to arena obligations.
Port Huron (8-0) - Clinched home field advantage throughout the GLIFL playoffs.
Rochester (5-3) - Clinched playoff berth; will clinch #2 seed with win AND Marion loss.
Lehigh Valley (4-4) - Will clinch playoff berth with win OR Battle Creek loss; can host playoff game with wins against Marion and Port Huron AND Rochester losses to NY/NJ and Marion.
Marion (4-4) - Will clinch playoff berth with win AND Battle Creek loss; can host playoff game with wins against Lehigh Valley and Rochester (if Marion finishes 6-4, there is no scenario in which they are not the #2 seed in the GLIFL playoffs).
Battle Creek (3-5) - Cannot clinch playoff berth in Week Eleven; must win one more game than Marion OR Lehigh Valley to make playoffs (hold tiebreaker over Marion, so they win playoff berth if tied with Mayhem; Lehigh Valley holds tiebreaker, so they must have better record than Outlawz to beat them); will be eliminated from playoff contention with loss AND Marion win (at Lehigh Valley) of 35 or more points (three way points scored, second tiebreaker if all three teams are 2-2 against one-another).
***Current three-way records: Lehigh Valley (2-1), Battle Creek (2-2), Marion (1-2)***
NY/NJ (0-8) - Eliminated from playoff contention.
