Week Six Players Of The Week Announced

Omaha, NE - James Terry, Dorsey Golston and Tim Blackwell have been selected as United Indoor Football (UIF) players of the week for their play in week 6 of the UIF season.

Terry, wide receiver for the Sioux Falls Storm, earns Offensive Player of the Week honors for his efforts in last week's game. He caught a team-high eight passes for 124 yards in the Storm's 45-34 victory over the Sioux City Bandits. So far this season, Terry leads the Storm with 25 receptions, 293 receiving yards and five receiving touchdowns. This weekend, Terry and his teammates complete a two-game homestand by facing off against the Billings Outlaws Saturday evening.

Golston, defensive back for the Colorado Ice, has been tabbed as Defensive Player of the Week. In the Ice's 28-26 loss to the Billings Outlaws, Craft made 10 solo tackles and assisted on two more, finishing the night with a team-high 11. He added a tackle for loss with a loss of a yard. This weekend, Colorado welcomes the Sioux City Bandits to the Budweiser Events Center on Friday evening for a week 5 re-match.

Blackwell, running back for the RiverCity Rage, is honored with Special Teams Player of the Week. He returned five kicks for 103 yards with a long of 44 in the Rage's 41-38 loss to the Bloomington Extreme. Blackwell also rushed for 58 yards and a touchdown while also catching five passes for 25 yards and another touchdown. This weekend, RiverCity hosts the Wichita Wild Saturday evening at the Family Arena.
