FRIDAY'S GAMES
TAMPA BAY 68, Arizona 39 (Attendance: 12,209): Game MVP JOHN KALEO passed for 276 yards and eight touchdowns as the Storm (7-2) posted 40 points in the second half to beat the Rattlers (4-5) and extended their winning streak to six games.
SAN JOSE 62, Carolina 40 (Attendance: 13,141): The SaberCats (7-2) rushed for an AFL record-tying six touchdowns, including three by Ironman of the Game WR/LB BARRY WAGNER, to defeat the Cobras (0-9) and claim their sixth consecutive victory.
SATURDAY'S GAMES
GRAND RAPIDS 48, Chicago 34 (Attendance: 10,594): The Rampage defense collected a team-best four interceptions, including two by Game MVP MARK RICKS, as Grand Rapids (6-3) defeated Central division rival, the Rush (3-6).
Indiana 62, DALLAS 55 (Attendance: 13,605): A 28-yard touchdown reception by Firebirds WR/DB EDDIE BROWN with 20 seconds remaining led Indiana (4-5) past the Desperados (5-4) on Saturday night. Ironman of the Game, Indiana's EVAN HLAVACEK, recorded three scoring catches and a 56-yard kickoff return for a touchdown.
LAS VEGAS 46, Georgia 41 (Attendance: 9,618): Gladiators WR/DB JERIOD JOHNSON intercepted two passes, including one in the final 32 seconds to help lead Las Vegas (5-4) to a victory over the Force (6-3).
SUNDAY'S GAMES
Detroit 34, BUFFALO 14 (Attendance: 7,197): Detroit WR/LB MARCUS NASH led the Fury (5-4) with seven receptions and a touchdown while adding an interception on defense in the Eastern Division victory over Buffalo (3-6).
Los Angeles 64, ORLANDO 63 (Attendance: 11,322): Los Angeles WR/LB GREG HOPKINS caught a 32-yard touchdown pass from QB TONY GRAZIANI off the end zone nets as time expired, capping the Avengers' (7-2) unusual comeback victory over the Predators (6-3).
NEW YORK 62, Colorado 51 (Attendance: 10,568): New York QB AARON GARCIA threw eight touchdowns - four to OS MIKE FURREY as the Dragons (3-6) won their third straight game. FB/LB JOEY DOZIER had two rushing touchdowns for Colorado (1-8) in defeat.
