FRIDAY'S GAME

Orlando 70, CAROLINA 42 (Attendance: 9,019): Game MVP CONNELL MAYNOR subbed for the injured JAY GRUDEN and completed 7-of-11 passes for 122 yards and two touchdowns, while also adding two rushing touchdowns in the second half against the Cobras (0-4) and kept the Predators (4-0) undefeated.

SATURDAY'S GAMES

Las Vegas 46, NEW YORK 45 (Attendance: 10,211): Las Vegas (2-2) quarterback JAY MCDONAGH ran in from seven yards out to score the winning touchdown with 23 seconds remaining in the game. New York (0-4) quarterback AARON GARCIA threw for 306 yards and six touchdowns in the losing effort.

Buffalo 63, GEORGIA 43 (Attendance: 9,651): Destroyers returned two onside kicks for touchdowns while offensive specialist GUNNARD TWYNER scored three first half touchdowns to secure the win and kept Buffalo (3-1) tied for the Eastern Division lead with Detroit. Georgia (2-2) was led by SCOTT THOMAS, who had seven receptions for 131 yards and two touchdowns.

SAN JOSE 80, Colorado 40 (Attendance: 15,604): Fullbacks MATT KINSINGER and KEALA KEANAAINA rushed for two touchdowns each and San Jose had six scores on the ground as the 2002 ArenaBowl Champion SaberCats (2-2) took advantage of six Colorado (0-4) turnovers and defeated the expansion Crush.

SUNDAY'S GAMES

CHICAGO 54, Los Angeles 53 (Attendance: 16,132): Chicago quarterback BILLY DICKEN returned to the starting line-up and responded by leading the Rush (1-3) with a see-saw 54-53 victory over the Avengers (3-1). Dicken completed 21 of 30 passes for 229 yards with four touchdowns, throwing just two interceptions.

DETROIT 53, Dallas 49 (Attendance: 10,606): With three seconds left, Dallas' (2-2) JIM KUBIAK connected with receiver ANDY MCCULLOUGH, but Detroit's HERMAN BELL tackled the diving McCullough at the one-yard line to seal the Fury (3-1) victory.

Tampa Bay 58, GRAND RAPIDS 56 (Attendance: 8,031): After winning two straight games with last-second field goals, the Rampage (3-1) fell victim to an IAN HOWFIELD 23-yarder as time expired. Tampa Bay (2-2) offensive specialist FREDDIE SOLOMON had nine receptions for 167 yards and two touchdowns in the victory.

Arizona 62, INDIANA 54 (Attendance: 13,123): Arizona quarterback SHERDRICK BONNER made an impressive return from a shoulder injury by completing 25-of-29 for 313 yards and eight touchdowns for the Rattlers (2-2). Arizona's HUNKIE COOPER became the League's all-time kick return leader with his 461st return. Indiana (3-1) offensive specialist EDDIE BROWN had three touchdowns and became the second player to reach the 2,000-point mark in his career.
