NEED TO KNOW

DEFENDERS

The Defenders hit the road for the first time with a long trip west. XFL passing leader Cardale Jones (511 yards, 4 TDs) has graded out as the best QB by Pro Football Focus in each of the first two weeks.

Should be an interesting return for DE Anthony Johnson, who opened the season as a captain for the Wildcats before being traded to DC for cornerback Bradley Sylve.

The Defenders own a league-high plus-4 in touchdown differential.

WILDCATS

Los Angeles QB Josh Johnson returned to the lineup last week, and his passing grade of 79.9 was second only to Jones' (90.6). Johnson, who threw for 196 yards and two touchdowns against Dallas, faces a stiff test against DC, which has held opposing QBs to a league-low 54.4 passer rating.

WR Nelson Spruce leads the XFL with 192 receiving yards to go along with two scores.

The Wildcats have given up eight TDs, the most in the league.
