Tobin Praznik, Anchorage Aces
Tobin Praznik of the Anchorage Aces earns his first WCHL Player of the Week honors after scoring five goals and two assists in three games last week for the Northern Division club. Praznik netted two goals in consecutive games versus Tacoma last week and has scored goals in each of his last four games. He led the Aces to a 5-3 win over Tacoma with two goals and two assists in a come from behind victory. Praznik scored the first Aces goal of the game and assisted on the game winning goal before adding an empty net goal as time expired. The previous night he scored two second period goals and helped the Aces garner a 4-3 shootout loss. For the season, the St. Andrews, Manitoba native has scored 19 goals and 17 assists in 45 games.

WCHL GOALTENDER OF THE WEEK
Scott Hay, Bakersfield Condors
Scott Hay of the Bakersfield Condors earns Goaltender of the Week honors after posting an impressive 3-0-1 record in four appearances last week for the Condors. The highlight of the week was Hay's fourth shutout of the season, a 2-0 win over the Long Beach Ice Dogs. He also recorded 22 saves in a 2-1 win over the rival Ice Dogs and allowed three goals in a 4-3 shootout loss. For the week, Hay recorded a 1.75 goals against average and a .932 save percentage. Hay ranks fourth among WCHL netminders with 1,057 saves this season and 2,323 minutes played. He is 15-19-4 for the season and sports a 2.92 goals against average.
