Thank you for all your support of the Whitecaps this season. With your help, the Whitecaps have journeyed to the USL Championship Match in Rochester, New York for the first time in their history. With the game not available on local television, we want to give you a special opportunity to watch it with fellow Whitecaps fans. The match will be broadcast for Vancouver fans live at the RIO on BROADWAY courtesy of FOX Sports World Canada, the rights holders for the championship final. There will be prizes and giveaways and fans are encouraged to show their Whitecaps sprit by wearing blue and white. Saturday's event is being made possible by HUB International Insurance Brokers, a premier partner of the Whitecaps.
"We're excited to have the chance to invite our loyal season ticket holders and all of our fans to celebrate the USL final at the RIO on BROADWAY," said Lenarduzzi. "It's only appropriate that the site of SOCCERIO on Commercial Drive earlier this year be the meeting place for our fans this weekend. We appreciate the support of HUB International and the RIO on BROADWAY and look forward to a thrilling match between two quality teams on Saturday."
The RIO on BROADWAY was the flagship venue for SOCCERIO on Commercial Drive, the month-long celebration of the FIFA World Cup which raised $16,326 for SOS Children's Villages, the official FIFA charity. SOCCERIO on Commercial Drive was presented as a partnership between the RIO on BROADWAY, the Vancouver Whitecaps FC and the Commercial Drive Business Society.
"We were proud to re-launch the new RIO on BROADWAY in May of this year and we were excited to host Vancouver's World Cup soccer fans for SOCCERIO on Commercial Drive," said Mukesh Goyal, Director of the Vancouver heritage theatre originally opened in 1938. "It was a great success and we're keen to welcome Caps fans to celebrate as one here on Saturday."

Tickets: Minimum $5 donation to KidSport, which provides sports opportunites and equipment for young B.C. children who otherwise would not have the chance to play organized sport.
Pickup: RIO on BROADWAY Box Office: Wednesday - Friday 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Saturday at 3:00 p.m. (capacity is 458 so only if available on Saturday). The first 100 fans at the RIO on BROADWAY will receive free popcorn and soft drink
