Washington Raptors Announce League's Youngest Intern

August 26, 2008 - American Basketball Association (ABA) News Release


Kelso, WA. ABA Washington Raptors owner, Regina Joseph, is proud to announce the first intern to serve with the new professional basketball team that begins play in December - Steven Kordenat. Kordenat, an 8th grader at Toulte Lake Junior/Senior High School will act as the Raptors' Junior/Senior High School Liason.

Active in his community, Kordenat has just completed a summer internship with South Gate Real Estate in Silver Lake, WA and also volunteers at the Cowlitz County Humane Society. "Steven's positive attitude and optimism will be a great asset to our team," said Joseph. "He is excited about being involved with the local pro basketball team."

Tim Joseph, team President/GM, added, "I'm looking forward to having Steven interning with our team. He's a very bright young man who strives to do his best in all situations. Steven will be an excellent role model for his peers and we welcome him to the team."
