DAYTON, OHIO-The Dayton Dragons announced the following roster changes today:
Second baseman Shed Long has been activated from the disabled list.
Infielder Ty Washington has been promoted to Daytona (Advanced-A; Florida State League).
The Dragons roster remains at the Midwest League limit of 25 players.
Long has appeared in 19 games for the Dragons this season, batting .224 with one home run and six runs batted in. He has not played since July 20 due to a lower back strain.
Washington appeared in 39 games for the Dragons, batting .267 with one home run and 17 runs batted in.
The Dragons open a six-game road trip on Tuesday night in Cedar Rapids, Iowa against the Cedar Rapids Kernels.
