Warriors to Host Mudbugs in South Division Final, Weekend Fanfare to Include Tailgates, Giveaways

OKLAHOMA CITY - The 2023 NAHL Regular Season Champion Oklahoma Warriors will continue their quest for the Robertson Cup in a best-of-five series against the Shreveport Mudbugs Friday, May 5 at Blazers Ice Centre.

After a successful first playoff weekend in Oklahoma City in Round 1, the Warriors will once again host pregame tailgates Friday and Saturday from 3-6 p.m., May 5 and 6. Part of the playoff festivities will include a chance to win two season tickets to the 2023-24 season.

The Warriors encourage fans to participate in a playoff "White Out" and wear white clothing for the weekend. Additionally, team store discounts up to 35% off will be honored during the games with some exclusions.

The first two rounds of the NAHL playoffs are played in-division before each of the four division winners travel to Blaine, Minnesota, for the remainder of the postseason.

The South Division Final schedule has been released, which has Oklahoma hosting Shreveport for Games 1, 2 and 5 if necessary.

Games 1 & 2 will be played at Blazers Ice Centre in Oklahoma City May 5 and 6 before the teams travel to Shreveport for Game 3 and Game 4 if necessary.

If a Game 5 is needed to decide the series, it will take place Sunday, May 14 at Blazers Ice Centre.

Oklahoma finished its series against the Amarillo Wranglers with a 3-game sweep, while Shreveport went the distance in a 5-game slate with the Lone Star Brahmas.
