SANTA CRUZ, Calif. - The NBA D-League announced today that the Santa Cruz Warriors 2014-15 season begins on Friday, November 14 when the team plays host to the Los Angeles D-Fenders at Kaiser Permanente Arena on Opening Night. After opening with back-to-back home games against Los Angeles and the Iowa Energy, the Warriors travel to Texas for their first road trip of the season, returning home at the end of November to face off against the Rio Grande Valley Vipers.

Coming off a season in which the team appeared in its second consecutive NBA D-League Finals and won the NBA D-League "Development Champion" Award for best embodying the league's goals of developing talent, the Warriors are slated to face West Division rivals 22 times during the 2014-15 campaign. The Westchester Knicks, one of the NBA D-League's newest teams, will make an appearance at Kaiser Permanente Arena during the Warriors' season-long six-game homestand, which takes place from February 24 to March 7.

Santa Cruz is at home for six of its first 10 games, and then on the road for six of its next 10. The schedule includes two five-game road trips, with the first taking place on January 6 through January 22, providing the lone rematch of the 2014 NBA D-League Finals against the Fort Wayne Mad Ants and the Warriors' first trip to the Bob Carpenter Center against the Delaware 87ers. Santa Cruz plays its final regular season home game on Friday, April 3 against the Reno Bighorns and travels for the regular season finale against the Bakersfield Jam on Saturday, April 4.

The 2014-15 schedule features 14 sets of back-to-back games, with six at home at Kaiser Permanente Arena. The tip-off for the majority of Santa Cruz's home games is 7:00 p.m., with the exception of three Sunday contests at 6:00 p.m. All regular season games will be broadcast on the Santa Cruz Warriors flagship station, KION 1460AM/101.1FM, with Kevin Danna handling the play-by-play duties for his third season.

In addition the Santa Cruz Warriors will announce details about their preseason schedule at a later date.
