VSI Tampa Bay FC USL PRO is proud to host the Tampa Bay Rowdies in the second round of the 100th edition of the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup on Tuesday, May 21 at 7:30 p.m in Plant City Stadium.

After a penalty kick win over the Orlando City U23s, VSI Tampa Bay FC is pleased to return home for the first-ever meeting between VSI Tampa Bay FC and the Tampa Bay Rowdies.

The second round of this Lamar Hunt US Open Cup knockout tournament finds the Rowdies travelling from St. Petersburg, Florida to Plant City Stadium.

VSI Tampa Bay FC enters the match sitting sixth in the United Soccer Leagues (USL) PRO rankings. This places them in the middle of the pack, amongst 14 teams, with only 7 games played of their 26 this season. VSI Tampa Bay FC has 12 points with a 4-3-0 record. The Rowdies enter the match in the second round of the Open Cup gaining a by past the first round. The Rowdies sit 2nd of 7 teams in the North American Soccer League (NASL) rankings with 6 games played of 27 they have to play this season, with 11 points and a 3-2-1 record. This derby is set to kickoff at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 21st in Plant City Stadium. Plant City Stadium is located at 1810 East Park Road, Plant City, Florida 33563. Tickets to the match are available online at www.vsi-fc.com or at the Plant City Stadium box office. The stadium box office opens at 6 p.m. on Tuesday.

General admission tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children under 12 years old. Parking is $5. All children 18 years old and under wearing soccer jerseys of any kind gain free entry into Tuesday night's match. Alessi Bakery is providing concessions for all of VSI Tampa Bay FC's USL PRO home matches in the 2013 season.
