
Vermont Frost Heaves Coach Will Voigt Moving onto Bakersfield

South Burlington, VT - Will Voigt, the only Head Coach the Vermont Frost Heaves have ever known has accepted the Head Coaching job for the Bakersfield Jam of the NBA Development League.
In his three years as Head Coach of the Frost Heaves, Voigt led the team to an overall record of 90 wins and 18 losses, collecting two championships, two Coach of the year honors and a wildcard playoff appearance in last year's Premier Basketball League playoffs. He brings an overall Coaching record of 124 wins and 45 losses to Bakersfield.
"I want to thank Alex and Vanessa for giving me the opportunity to coach the Frost Heaves these past three years," stated Voigt. "I am also forever indebted to the countless people who contributed to our success. I am fortunate to have been surrounded by great coaches, staff, players and fans, and will miss them dearly. Although, it is hard to leave Vermont, I am excited for the opportunity to coach the Bakersfield Jam."

"With Will's desire and determination we know he will continue his winning ways for the Bakersfield Jam."
The Vermont Frost Heaves will kick off their second Premier Basketball League season in Mid December 2009 and the search for a new Coach kicks into full gear. As part of the upcoming season, the Frost Heaves will be consolidating their operations in Central Vermont but will continue to play in both Barre and Burlington.
