AMARILLO, Texas - The Amarillo Venom, the defending Lone Star Football League champions, will unveil home and away uniforms for the upcoming 2014 season. Along with new regular uniforms, there will be special edition uniforms for the inaugural International Championship on March 23 against the LEXFA All-Stars and the limited edition Texas Gold uniforms on June 7 against the West Texas Wildcatters.

Outfitted by Russell Athletics and provided by Buck's Sporting Goods out of Amarillo, the new home uniforms are primarily black with white trim and red numbers.

The uniform design was heavily influenced by the away jersey of the West Texas A&M Buffaloes and the color scheme of the Texas Tech Red Raiders. The away uniforms are primarily white with black trim and red numbers.

For the International Championship game against the LEXFA All-Stars, the Amarillo Venom will debut a patriotic theme with white stars over a blue background adorning the left shoulder and red and white stripes on the right shoulder. There will also be a customized number font as well.

The details for the Texas Gold uniforms will be provided as the season progresses. The Amarillo Venom are a proud member of the LSFL. For more information and tickets, contact the Amarillo Venom office at (806) 350-7277.
