
Venom to Appear at Harrington Discovery Center

AMARILLO, Texas - On March 12, players and coaches from the Amarillo Venom will make a spring break appearance at the Don Harrington Discovery Center from 1 through 3 p.m. Along with meeting with fans, local children will be able to interact with Venom players - from playing a game of flag football to board games.
This appearance by the Amarillo Venom is a part of the Harrington Discovery Center's Spring Break Spectacular, which lasts from March 10 to March 14. Festivities for the Spring Break Spectacular range from appearances by the Amarillo Bulls on March 10 to celebrating the mathematical equation of Pi by serving pie on March 14.
The Don Harrington Discovery Center is located in the Don Harrington Regional Medical Center at 1200 Streit Drive in Amarillo. The Discovery Center's hours are on Tuesdays through Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and from noon to 4:30 p.m. on Sundays. The facility is also open on Monday on school holidays and during the summer.
Cost to visit the Discovery Center is $10 for adults, $7 for children and senior citizens while children age two and under are free.
The Discovery also allows donations through their website, dhdc.org.
