
Venom to Aid Citizens of Fritch with Fundraiser and Fan Rally

AMARILLO, Texas - In the face of the Double Diamond wildfire that destroyed 155 structures and displaced many of the citizens of Fritch, the Amarillo Venom has joined in to assist in the relief efforts. To aid those who are affected by this disaster, the Venom will hold a fundraiser to help the community of Fritch in this time of need.
The Venom is currently asking for donations from its friends and fans. The items needed for those in need are clothes, new undergarments, socks, curling irons, blow dryers, make-up and other assorted hygiene accessories. Those who bring any of these items on the list will receive a free ticket for their donations.
Items provided the Fritch relief effort can be dropped off at Maximum Movers, located at 1710 SE 16th Ave Suite 400 in Amarillo. The location is off of Interstate 40 and Ross Osage Dr. Maximum Movers will take the items from May 17 to May 24 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
One can also drop off these items to Gate 7 of the Amarillo Civic Center on May 17, starting at 8 a.m. to help various members of the Amarillo Venom organization sort and organize the donations provided for the rebuilding of Fritch and to relieve its citizens.
