Amarillo Venom News Release

Amarillo, TX 5/22/12 : The Amarillo Venom will be attending the D-Force Carnival this Thursday, May 24th at the Amarillo Association of Realtors from 11:00-2:00pm.

The D-Force Project is a nationally recognized program that promotes good school attendance, good behavior, and meeting the grade point average set by the high school. The Amarillo Association of Realtors adopted Palo Duro High School four years ago to implement the D-Force project reinforcing that the Palo Duro Dons are Focused, Organized, Respectful, and Consistent Every day.

Students qualifying for the D-Force program are invited to a luncheon at the end of every six weeks to reward the students for their hard work. Now, the Amarillo Association of Realtors will host a carnival to celebrate a year's worth of positive effort.

The carnival consists of multiple businesses sponsoring booths with fun activities for the high school students to participate in for awards and prizes. The Amarillo Venom will be teaming up with the Lawyers Title booth to sponsor a football throw at the carnival for a chance to win FREE Venom merchandise. Thanks to Gene Messer Ford and the Venom, 550 tickets will be donated to the D-Force carnival to give each qualified student FREE admission to the Venom's home game this Saturday, May 26th.

The Venom is very proud of the Palo Duro High School students who worked hard to be a part of the D-Force Program! The Venom is definitely excited to be able to take part and be involved in the carnival.
