Amarillo, TX 1/10/12: The Amarillo Venom will be attending and assisting with the Tri- State Open Chili Championship benefiting Make-A-Wish.
"The Venom participated in the chili cook-off last year, and it was a great success" said Box Office Director, Michelle McFadden. "The players always enjoy getting out in the community and spending time with their fans."
The Venom staff and players will be taste testing chili, hanging out with fans, and doing their part to help on Saturday, January 14th at the Tri- State Fairgrounds. Come out for fun family games and meet some of the 2012 Venom football players. The Chili Cook-Off is FREE admission to all and doors open at 11:00am. Chili tasting begins at 11:00am and tasting cups are $3. Also, there will be door prizes and a silent auction for all to enjoy. So, if you're looking for a fun filled day, come out and participate in the festivities!
