Tampa, FL - United Soccer Leagues today announced The Sport SourceR as its official educational partner. Through this partnership, USL players and families will gain access to the USL Super Y-League College Learning Center, giving them instant and immediate access to more than 2,500 collegiate soccer coaches representing NCAA Division I, II, III, NAIA, NCCAA and NJCAA, as well as 5,800 colleges and universities across the United States.
"We are excited to provide our players and parents a proven approach to take the guesswork out of the college recruitment process and guide them each step of the way," USL National Technical Director Peter Mellor said.
The goal of the USL Super Y-League College Learning Center, powered by The Sport SourceR, is to show families how the recruitment process works and how to apply academic and athletic accomplishments to maximize collegiate opportunities.
"These programs use the latest in advanced technology to precisely match students to collegiate programs base on academic selection, athletic goals, geographic location chosen and other user-selected factors," said Charlie Kadupski, Founder and CEO of The Sport SourceR. "While we cannot guarantee everyone will receive a full ride, we can promise if a student is honest with his or her academic and athletic abilities, together we can ensure students who can make it in college, make it to college."
Both USL and The Sport SourceR are committed to ensuring students have a clear action plan to make a smooth transition from high school to college and graduate with a meaningful degree.
All USL Super Y-League players and parents are encouraged to get involved and make the USL Super Y-League College Learning Center part of their experience.
