USL-2 Championship on on FSC Saturday

It's another double dose of exciting USL action on Fox Soccer Channel this week. In addition to the Portland Timbers visiting their heated rival Vancouver Whitecaps at 11:00 pm ET Friday on Fox Soccer Channel, the Cleveland City Stars will take on the regular season champion Charlotte Eagles for the USL Second Division Championship Saturday at 10:00 pm ET.
Since 2001, the Timbers have a regular season record of 7-16-8 against the Whitecaps. In Vancouver, Portland has a 1-12-2 mark and recorded its only win during the 2004 season.
The history between the two USL-2 finalists over the course of two seasons is limited, but perhaps telling of a potentially close final that could require overtime or penalties. Cleveland has the advantage in the series with a 2-1-1 overall record and a mark of 2-0-0 at home.
