- Eight of the players competing in the Frozen Four have won the Clark Cup as USHL playoff champions: Garrett Kennedy (Indiana, 2009), Joe Hartman (Indiana, 2009), Brett Bennett (Indiana, 2009), Barry Almeida (Omaha, 2008), Shane Madolora (Omaha, 2008), Patrick Tiesling (Sioux Falls, 2007), Aaron Bendickson (Des Moines, 2006), and Gary Steffes (Cedar Rapids, 2005).

- Boston College sophomore forward Barry Almeida scored in overtime of Game Five of the 2008 Clark Cup Finals to give the Omaha Lancers a 3-2 series win over the Waterloo Black Hawks. It was the second straight game of the series that Almeida scored the game-winning goal. RIT freshman Shane Madolora was the backup goaltender for Omaha that night while Wisconsin freshman forward Craig Smith was on the Waterloo team.

- 19 players competing in the Frozen Four were named to the USHL All-Star Game during their careers.

- Wisconsin teammates Brett Bennett and Craig Smith were both named First Team All-USHL last season. Nine former All-USHL players are competing in the Frozen Four:

- Wisconsin assistant Kevin Patrick will be the head coach for the Muskegon (Michigan) Lumberjacks when they play their inaugural USHL season in 2010-11.

- RIT assistant Dave Insalaco was on the coaching staff for the Green Bay Gamblers during the 2007- 08 season.

- RIT head coach Wayne Wilson is the father of current Cedar Rapids RoughRiders forward Stu Wilson.

- 227 players in the USHL during the 2009-10 season have commitments to NCAA Division I schools. 23 of those are committed to attend one of the Frozen Four finalists following their USHL careers:

23 USHL alumni have signed NHL contracts this spring following the conclusion of their collegiate seasons. 16 of those were free agent signings and 7 were NHL Draft selections.
