
UIFL Names Week Three Honor Roll

FT. MYERS, FL - The UIFL has announced the weekly honors for the week ending March 18, 2012. This week, there is only one set of honors as only one North division team was in action.
The Conquest Cards Offensive Player of the Week honors goes to Eastern Kentucky running back Maurice Douse. He helped lead a Driller comeback with 90 total yards and five touchdowns, three of which were rushing.
Lakeland Raider linebacker Drametrice Smith earns All-Star PR Cincinnati Defensive Player of the Week laurels with 4.5 tackles, two sacks, two pass break-ups and a fumble returned for a touchdown.
The Trophy Awards Special Teams Player of the Week goes to Marion kicker Trey Kramer. This marks the second time this season Kramer has earned the special teams awards. He tied a UIFL record with a 55-yard field goal and added two UNOs.
