
UIF Outlaws Hosting Open Tryouts October 13

Billings, MT - The Billings Outlaws announced that they will hold an open tryout for the 2008 indoor football team on Saturday, October 13th at the Sports Plex , located at 5000 Southgate Drive , Billings , MT 59102 .
Registration will start at 8:00am and the tryout will run from 9:00am to 1:00pm. Players must be at least 18 years of age or older, and will need to bring 1) a valid photo ID, 2) an updated bio, and 3) appropriate workout attire and shoes. All activities will be held on game turf and are open to players of all positions. Skills that will be tested include, among others, the 40-yard dash, short shuttle, broad jump and one-on-one for offensive and defensive linemen.
Tryout fees are $25 with pre-registration and $40 on the day of the event, payable by cash or money order only. No checks will be accepted. Pre-registration fees may be paid in person at the Billings Outlaws corporate offices located in the Sports Plex.
"I am really looking forward to this try-out. This is always a great opportunity for local athletes to showcase their talent as well as athletes from all over the United States," said head coach Heron O'Neal.
In 2007, the Billings Outlaws enjoyed a successful season by making it to the Western Conference Championship in their debut into the United Indoor Football Association.
In 2008, the Outlaws are proud to welcome back head coach Heron O'Neal, who has an overall 25-7 record in the last two years including a league championship in 2006.
