
UIF meetings open in Bloomington

Bloomington, IL - United Indoor Football owners, staff and coaches converge this weekend in Bloomington, IL for the league's pre-season meetings. The conference opens tonight, lasting through Sunday morning.
Bloomington hosts the meetings after being awarded an expansion franchise in the fall.
Representatives of the teams and the league office will be on hand in preparation for the UIF's second season beginning in March.
The meetings are an opportunity to discuss the business of indoor football on and off the turf as well as a chance for coaches to review and approve rule changes for the 2006 season.
The league office will also announce new initatives in community service, media and public relations as well as overall team and league operations.
