United Football League quarterbacks

LAS VEGAS LOCOMOTIVES

Chase Clement (0-1 UFL regular-season record, 1-0 UFL postseason record, 2nd professional season)

Clement had not started a professional game until Week 10 of the 2010 UFL season. The next week, he earned UFL Championship Game Most Valuable Player honors by leading the Locos to a 23-20 win over the Florida Tuskers. In that title game, Clement was 15-for-24 for 239 yards, two touchdowns and one interception while running for 30 yards on five carries. In his first UFL action in Week 9 against the Sacramento Mountain Lions, Clement tied a league record with two rushing touchdowns in a game.

Brian Brohm (1st season in UFL, 4th professional season)

Brohm has played three regular-season games in the National Football League, all for the Buffalo Bills (2009-10), since being drafted in the second round by the Green Bay Packers in 2008. In those three games (two starts), Brohm is 27-for-52 for 252 yards, no touchdowns and five interceptions. He signed with the Locos on August 29.

Zac Lee (rookie)

Lee re-joined the Locos following a training camp stint with the Seattle Seahawks. A starter at Nebraska as a junior in 2009, Lee threw for 2,143 yards and 14 touchdowns while starting 12 games. As a senior backup for the Cornhuskers in 2010, he was 11-for-20 for 102 yards.

OMAHA NIGHTHAWKS

Eric Crouch (1st season in UFL, 3rd professional season)

The Omaha native is back for a shot at becoming a full-time starting professional quarterback for the first time. This will be the first time the 2001 Heisman Trophy-winning ex-Cornhusker has played since a stint with the Canadian Football League's Toronto Argonauts in 2006. During that Heisman season 10 years ago, Crouch passed for 1,510 yards and seven touchdowns and ran for 1,115 yards and 18 touchdowns as Nebraska finished 11-1 in the regular season.

Troy Smith (1st season in the UFL, 5th professional season)

The 2006 Heisman winner out of Ohio State comes to the UFL after spending four seasons in the NFL with the Baltimore Ravens (2007-09) and San Francisco 49ers (2010). Smith started a career-high six games for the San Francisco 49ers in 2010, finishing the season with 1,176 yards and five touchdowns passing and 121 yards and a touchdown rushing. For the 49ers and the Baltimore Ravens (2007-09), Smith saw time in 20 games (eight starts), and has a career National Football League passer rating of 78.5.

Jeremiah Masoli (rookie)

Masoli was a Heisman candidate during his days at Oregon, and was a highly productive collegian for both the Ducks and Mississippi. Masoli, who spent time in training camp with the 49ers, threw for 5,930 yards and 42 touchdowns, and ran for 1,930 yards and 29 scores, in college.

SACRAMENTO MOUNTAIN LIONS

Ryan Colburn (rookie)

A lefty, Colburn is the only one of the two Mountain Lions' quarterbacks to go through all of Sacramento's training camp. Colburn comes to the Mountain Lions after having thrown for 2,817 yards and 23 touchdowns last fall for Fresno State. He also completed 63.1 percent of his passes, and ran for three touchdowns. In his first year as a collegiate starter as a junior in 2009, Colburn threw for 2,459 yards and 19 touchdowns, and completed 60.7 percent of his passes.

McLeod Bethel-Thompson (rookie)

A face familiar to Sacramento football fans, Bethel-Thompson, who spent time in camp with the 49ers, was 21-for-38 for 161 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions as a senior in 2010. He played 18 games for the Hornets after spending the 2007 season at UCLA and playing in four games as a freshman.

VIRGINIA DESTROYERS

Chris Greisen (3-0 UFL regular-season record, 0-1 UFL postseason record, 12th professional season)

Greisen started and won the final three regular-season games as a starter for the Florida Tuskers last season, and his 97.5 passer rating for the season would have been tops in the UFL had he had enough passing attempts. He was 58-for-84 for 664 yards, five touchdowns and three interceptions during the regular year, then 24-for-42 for 346 yards and two rushing touchdowns in the UFL Championship Game.

Mike McMahon (1-1 UFL regular-season record, 8th professional season)

McMahon returns to professional football after spending the 2009 UFL season as a backup with the California Redwoods. In 2009, McMahon was 21-for-46 for 205 yards, one touchdown and four interceptions, and led California to a 24-7 win at home over the New York Sentinels in Week 2. McMahon started his professional career in the NFL with the Detroit Lions, and played four seasons there (2001-04) and one season with the Philadelphia Eagles (2005).

Derek Devine (1st season in the UFL, first-year professional)

Devine, who has spent time with the Seattle Seahawks and Washington Redskins, served as Marshall's backup quarterback for two seasons. He played in five games in two seasons with the Herd (2005-06), throwing eight passes.
