NORWICH, CT- The UConn baseball team is set to take on the University of Rhode Island in a doubleheader at Dodd Stadium Tuesday, May 13th with the first game set to begin at 11 a.m.

Tickets are priced as follows: $10.00 for adults and $7.00 for seniors (60 and over) and children (12 and under). Tickets are available online at cttigers.com, at the Dodd Stadium box office, or over the phone at (860) 887-7962.

The game is a special Student Appreciation Day featuring a $7.00 ticket offer to local schools and youth organizations that includes a food and drink voucher. Interested schools and organizations can call 860-887-7962 for more information. To qualify for this special ticket package, reservations must be made in advance.

2014 will mark the third consecutive year the two schools have played a day game at Dodd Stadium and the first year the event has been a doubleheader.

The Connecticut Tigers are the New York-Penn League affiliate of the Detroit Tigers and play a 76 game schedule that runs from mid June through early September. 2014 season tickets, mini plans, individual game tickets, and team merchandise are now on sale! The front office and ticket office is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and can be accessed in person or by calling 860-887-7962.
