Two WSHL Monsters Selected in 2011 NAHL Entry Draft

Fresno, Calif. - The Fresno Monsters selected five players in the 2011 North American Hockey League entry draft yesterday.

With two picks in the 1st round, Fresno selected forwards Jonathan Davis from the Colorado Rampage U18AAA and Michael Harris from the New Jersey Rockets of the Atlantic Junior Hockey League.

Goaltender Michael Pesendorfer from Novi High School in Novi, Michigan was selected by Fresno in the 2nd round.

The Monsters also drafted some familiar faces.

Carl Witty, a defenseman, and Chase Sisk, a forward, were selected in rounds 3 and 4 respectively.

Both players were members of the Fresno Monsters' tier III Western States Hockey League team during the 2010-2011 season.
