Two-Time National Champion And Former Huskers Quarterback Tommie Frazier To Host Youth Clinic

OMAHA, NE – Friday, November 19 – The United Football League will share their knowledge with young football players and cheerleaders in Omaha at a Youth Sports Clinic as part of its Championship Game week celebrations.

Former Nebraska quarterback and two-time national champion with the Huskers TOMMIE FRAZIER will be joined by UFL coaches and players on Wednesday, November 24, from 4pm to 5.30pm at The Omaha Sports Complex located at 147th and Giles Road in Omaha.

Boys aged 9 to 14 are invited to participate in this free non-contact UFL Championship Game Youth Football Clinic that will teach the fundamentals of the game and more and is led by UFL professional coaches and players.

"The United Football League has been active in the local communities of our teams and we are delighted to coach young players to help improve their ability and their enjoyment of the game," said UFL Commissioner MICHAEL HUYGHUE. "Even at the highest level, players never stop learning so this will be a valuable clinic for youngsters who might one day hope to play college or professional football. I hope plenty of local youngsters will attend."

The experienced position coaches and players will provide hands-on demonstrations, share actual UFL drills and teach football fundamentals. The young participants will walk away having learned how much perseverance, discipline and determination is necessary to achieve their maximum potential both on and off the field.

The clinic will also feature a Youth Cheerleading Clinic, which is a fun-filled session dedicated to dance and activities. The clinic will group girls based on their skill level and will be led by the popular Omaha Nighthawks Cheerleaders. They will share their expertise, enthusiasm and experience of the first Nighthawks season with girls aged from 9 to 14.

Registration is limited to 150 participants in each of the two clinics, with an emphasis to offer the experience to a diversity of youth programs throughout the Omaha Area. A waiting list will be posted once the limit is reached.
