United Football League Players of Week 10 Offense - Chris Greisen, QB, Florida Tuskers Defense - Darrius Vinnett, CB, Florida Tuskers Special Teams - Nick Novak, K, Florida Tuskers Greisen, who took over the reigns of the Florida offense for the final three games of the season, has earned UFL Offensive Player of the Week laurels for the second time during that span. Against Omaha, Greisen was completed 17 of 26 attempts for 200 yards and a touchdown, completing passes to nine different receivers. Greisen now has led the Tuskers to three straight wins and a spot in the title game.
"I've been tickled with what Chris has done," said Tuskers president/part-owner JOE THEISMANN. "Chris did exactly what the 'other' quarterback is supposed to do. If you don't have two good quarterbacks, it's very difficult to advance."
In his three starts this fall, Greisen is 56-for-79 for 643 yards, five touchdowns and two interceptions for a 105.6 passer rating.
Vinnett got the Tuskers off on the right foot early, taking an interception back 45 yards for a touchdown early in the first quarter. Vinnett also had an interception in the fourth quarter, as he tied the UFL record for picks in a game with two.
"Playing on the road, and everybody's kind of chilly, it was important for us to get an immediate lift early," Tuskers head coach/general manager JAY GRUDEN said of Vinnett's early score. "It was a good spark for us."
Vinnett, in his second season with the Tuskers, also had three solo tackles for Florida in the victory.
Novak was 3-for-3 on extra points and 2-for-2 on field goals in the Florida triumph. He hit a 46-yard field goal in the second quarter and a 51-yard field goal in the third quarter.
Novak ended the 2010 regular season with 15 field goals, meaning to date he has raised $750 dollars for the American Cancer Society. Novak has pledged $50 per made field goal this season to the ACS.

Ticket prices range from $20.00-$50.00 and can be purchased through Ticketmaster or by calling 402-403-3776.
