April 28, 2010 - Golden Baseball League (GBL)
Tucson Toros News Release

Saturday May 1, 2010 the Tucson Toros will host their annual "Job Fair" at Hi Corbett Field from 10am to Noon. This is an opportunity for adults of all ages to participate in the seasonal operation of the Tucson Toros Baseball team games. Positions include hospitality, concession, ushers, ticket office and security. While most positions do not require prior experience there are a few specialty positions such as Club House Manager and Sports Trainer.

Over the past season, many "game day" employees held full time positions in other employment, while utilizing their second job with the Toros as "extra income and entertainment".

"We are a fun place to work", says Toros General Manager, Sean Smock. "Much of our game day staff are professionals from our business community that felt since they are going to be here anyway for a ball game, they might as well get paid to work it".

Applicants are urged to bring a resume, if they have one prepared and be prepared for an immediate interview. No advanced interviews will be scheduled.

In conjunction with the Job Fair, Tucson Toros will host an "Open House" allowing Fans to tour the stadium and pick their seats for the upcoming season. Additionally, the ticket Office will be open and "single game" tickets will be available beginning Saturday.
