Tucson Thunder Kats Announce Player Tryouts

Tucson Thunder Kats News Release
Tucson, Arizona: The Tucson Thunder Kats will be hosting their second open player tryouts! Tryouts will be held at the Pima College East field on Saturday October 16th from 5:00 pm to 10:00pm. Participants must arrive no later than 5:00 pm.
The Tucson Thunder Kats are a professional indoor football team, and will be playing in the American Indoor Football Association (AIFA). All home games will be played at the Tucson Convention Center starting March 5, 2011 .
Head coach Floyd Johnson and his staff will be conducting a variety of pro style workouts including speed, agility, and strength drills to evaluate potential players.
The Tucson Thunder Kats have invited 14 local players back from the first tryout. The following players will be returning for the second combine: Bobby Pond, Bobby Ybarra, Andrew Saenz, Javier Armenta, Ricardo Acusta, Tony Norman, Tate Grey, Stephen Johnson, Matt Gall, Robert Sallee, Lucius Brown, Rishard Davis, Alex Leon, and Nicholas Storey.
Participants must be 19 years of age.
There is a pre registration fee of $50.00 (on site registration will be $65.00). Tryouts will be limited to the first 100 participants registered.
