Trades Highlight Draft Weekend

The Entry Draft has always been a time for wheeling and dealing among the teams of the NLL. Eleven of the League's twelve teams were involved in at least one trade over the weekend. Enclosed is a summary of the trade activity.

The Philadelphia Wings traded their first round (6th overall) selection in the 2002 Entry Draft and their first round (7th overall) selection in the 2002 Dispersal Draft to the Ottawa Rebel in exchange for Andrew Guindon, and Rory Graham.

The Philadelphia Wings traded Rory Graham to Colorado for Paul Cantabene. Colorado matched the offer made to Rory Graham by the Vancouver Ravens, and retain his rights.

The Albany Attack traded their first round (10th overall) 2002 Dispersal Draft selection and their first round (12th overall) 2002 Entry Draft selection to the Columbus Landsharks in exchange for Columbus ‚¬â„¢ first round (8th overall) 2002 Entry Draft selection.

The New York Saints traded Jon Donnelly, Matt Alexander, and their first round (7th overall) selection in the 2002 Entry Draft to the Buffalo Bandits in exchange for the Bandits ‚¬â„¢ 5th overall selection and 20th selection in the 2002 Entry Draft.

The Buffalo Bandits traded Marc Landriault, Kevin Howard, and their third round (31 overall) selection in the 2002 Entry Draft to the Ottawa Rebel in exchange for Jason Crosbie, and Chris Konopliff.

The Buffalo Bandits traded their seventh overall and 28th overall selections in the 2002 Entry Draft, and Pat Maddalena to the Ottawa Rebel in exchange for the Rebels ‚¬â„¢ third overall selection in the 2002 Entry Draft.

The Vancouver Ravens traded their 22nd overall selection in the 2002 Entry Draft to the Vancouver Ravens in exchange for the Knighthawks ‚¬â„¢ 19th overall selection in the 2002 Entry Draft and their second round selection in the 2004 Entry Draft.

The Calgary Roughnecks traded Matt Ogelsby to Colorado in exchange for their 27th and 33rd overall selections in the 2002 Entry Draft.

The Philadelphia Wings traded their third round (32nd overall) selection in the 2002 Entry Draft, and their third round selection in the 2003 Entry Draft to Rochester in exchange for Eric Wedin and their third round (35th overall) selection in the 2002 Entry Draft.

The New Jersey Storm traded their fourth round selection (41st overall) to the Ottawa Rebel in exchange for Jamie McKeracher.

The New York Saints traded their fourth round (45th overall) selection in the 2002 Entry Draft to the Buffalo Bandits in exchange for Randy McNeill, and the Bandits ‚¬â„¢ Sixth round (67th overall) selection in the 2002 Entry Draft.

Colorado traded their ninth round selection in the 2003 Entry Draft to the Philadelphia Wings in exchange for the Wings ‚¬â„¢ ninth round (104 overall) selection in the 2002 Entry Draft.
