August 6, 2009 - Golden Baseball League (GBL)
Tucson Toros News Release
Calgary, CANADA - The Thursday doubleheader between the Tucson Toros and the Calgary Vipers has been postponed due to wet field conditions at Foothills Stadium in Calgary. The rainout marks the third consecutive day that inclement weather prevented play in Calgary, raining out the entire four game series. Make up dates for the postponed games are yet to be determined.
After three straight days of rain, the Toros will look forward to a return to the desert when they host a six game homestand beginning Friday, August 7th at 7:00 p.m. against the Edmonton Capitals and St. George Roadrunners.
